The total exporting and importing trade volume between China and Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) has been growing rapidly in 2021.
According to China Customs statistics , the total bilateral trade volume was RMB863.06 billion in 2021, up 23.3% year-on-year (similarly hereinafter). Of these, those exported to CEECs accounted for RMB642.14 billion, an increase of 25.1%; Those imported from CEECs reached RMB220.92 billion, an increase of 18.3%.
The main features of bilateral trade between China and CEECs in 2021 are as follows:
(1) Electro-mechanical and labor-intensive products were the main exported products.
(2) Electro-mechanical products, copper ,wood and wooden products were the main imported products.
(3) Poland, Czech and Hungary were the top three trading partners.
(4) Latvia trading volume in 2021 increased larger than 23.3%
